Healthy young Giant Timber Bamboo seedlings grown from our bamboo seeds in our bamboo nursery. Dendrodalamus strictus bamboo is also commonly known as Solid Bamboo, Calcutta Bamboo, and Male Bamboo. Popular worldwide for construction, manufacturing, and other applications requiring impressive strength, Solid Bamboo is in high demand for its notable culm strength and impressive height. 

All seedlings have well-developed roots in a nutrient rich rooting plug. (These are not “bare root” plants.)

When your bamboo seedlings arrive, simply place them into potted soil for continued growth and development in controlled conditions. Plant outdoors when the seedlings are at least 12” tall and after all threat of frost or freeze.
