Healthy young Burmese Bamboo seedlings grown from our Bambusa polymorpha bamboo seeds in our germination nursery. All seedlings have well-developed roots in a nutrient rich rooting plug. (These are not “bare root” plants.) 

A densely clumping bamboo with visually striking grayish green culms, Bumese Bamboo is a great choice for an effective wind and privacy screen with its compacted culms, impressive height, and superior tensile strength. Well-suited for Zones 9 and above (in  much of the Southwest, South, Southeast, and coastal Western United States), and throughout Zone 8 with seasonal winterization.

When your bamboo seedlings arrive, simply place them into potted soil for continued growth and development in controlled conditions. Plant outdoors when the seedlings are at least 12” tall and after all threat of frost or freeze.
